Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By using Gatekeeper ("the Service"), operated by the current Gatekeeper contracting entity, you agree to these Terms. Any public company-name, tax, liability, or contracting-entity representation must be verified by the account owner or legal professional before purchase.
2. Description of Service
Gatekeeper provides a unified AI API gateway with RBAC, cost tracking, and provider failover. Core software is Apache 2.0. Hosted and assisted beta services are governed by these terms.
3. Account Registration
You must register to access paid features. You are responsible for your account security and must provide accurate information.
4. Acceptable Use
You may not use the Service to route illegal content, to abuse AI providers' terms of service, or to circumvent rate limits. We may suspend accounts that violate provider policies.
5. Pricing and Payment
Public paid launch paths are assisted beta or implementation-sprint paths unless a page explicitly says self-serve is open. Approved buyers may receive an env-configured Stripe Checkout, Stripe Payment Link, or invoice. Lower SaaS pricing may be offered after first-value proof or assisted onboarding.
6. Refunds and Cancellation
Refunds for assisted beta or implementation setup fees are available before implementation work begins. Fees are not refundable after kickoff, custom setup, account configuration, or implementation work starts. Subscription cancellation terms are provided at purchase or in the customer portal when subscriptions are enabled.
7. Beta Support Boundaries
Assisted beta support covers onboarding, one setup checklist, first-value proof, and documented defects during the stated beta window. It excludes unlimited custom engineering, legal advice, tax advice, compliance certification, security certification, procurement representation, and third-party provider charges.
8. Intellectual Property
Core software is Apache 2.0. Service dashboard and branding are proprietary. You retain ownership of your API keys and prompt data.
9. Data Handling
We act as a pass-through proxy. Prompt and response content is not stored except for audit logs (configurable). See our Privacy Policy.
10. Claim Evidence and Generated Visuals
Marketing claims should be reviewed against the public claim-evidence ledger. Generated visuals are illustrative unless backed by real screenshots, demos, implementation checklists, or customer proof.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED AMOUNTS PAID IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS.
